You perhaps need to get a pressurised brake bleeding tool they are not expensive to buy. PL

Congratulations on your purchase of 454XUP it’s in very good condition – it was silver and red when first restored in Wales which the log book states. The tyres pressures need 28 rear 26 front. Yours Peter Love

This is the car I own today, ‘The Blue Lady’ which I am replacing the floor right at this moment. I have just had various items like the transmission cover power coated. You can follow all what is going on with this P1 which has a working heater in the AOC Tailwagger and was supplied new with a radio. Yours PL

Spax do the right rear and front shock absorbers the rear ones I replaced on my P last March just tell them to look my order up from last March it will give you the part number and everything and they come with rubbers. Spax are very reasonably priced particularly compared to Demon Tweeks. Yours PL

Thank you James, I have been honoured with a review copy which has arrived today, very pleased to see some pictures of my L, LKR in the book! Any book on our favourite make of car is worth having! I look forward to reading it properly however you must agree the opening upright picture of SA is of poor quality and I am sure a better picture could have been found of him. One only wants the ‘best’ for our strange machines to others eyes. No matter what, let’s hope the book will encourage others to be interested in our make and perpetuate it for future generations to come. I look forward to enjoying it over the forthcoming weeks! Congratulations to all involved.

Yes I look forward to reading my copy – I hear mixed things about the picture quality and that much of Lance’s text and pictures was changed by Alan unfortunately. Yours PL

Yes its good to see the 2021 calendar, congratulations to everyone involved, but I personally would have liked to have seen all the class winners from the USA run concours competition featured plus some of those lovely period ‘type’ pictures as seen in the 2020 calendar. To help the AOC I would have been interested in sponsoring and publishing it.

Well talking about films and changing the subject late last night on Talking pictures showed a 1958 b/w film called ‘The Key’ featuring William Holden and Sophie Loren all about the Royal Navy steam tugs during the battle of the Atlantic against the U-boats. Lots of original film of the tugs trying to hitch up to the cargo boats on fire to tow them in and so much more. Apparently they made three endings to the film there is lots of transport in it, but no Allards!. Yours Peter Love
