Can anyone advise where to best buy wire wheels and if possible where to source hub that I can have engraved with the logo?

Motor Wheel Services Slough are the ones I have used. Excellent company Telephone no 01753 549360.

Orson Engineering used to make spinners with the Allard Logo Not sure if they are still in business

Motor Wheel Services made a set of wire wheels for me last year. They also supply two-eared spinners with the Allard logo: http://shop.mwsint.com/product_details.asp?id=226

David, Chris , many thanks for the replies.

Did you guys have 4, 4 ½ or 5×16”? Any suggestions on the splined hubs ?

My wheels are 4½ x 16. 72 spokes laced outer and centre crossed.

I can’t advise the splined hubs, mine are the standard fitment for a J2 as far as I know.

You are right to be aware of the distinction between spinner dimensions, Diederik. I’m not sure of the diameter/tpi on my Special, but am pretty sure they are smaller than the standard J2, since they also fit my Triumph TR (15″ wheels) – and my Allard wires are 16″. I tried to find a firm to inscribe the Allard logo on my spinners – so far, no joy.

    Good luck,
