Good Evening. Does anyone know anything about the P1 appearing in the Pickering auction tomorrow ?
I saw this one a while back in the background of another car auction on the same site, but didn’t manage to find anything more about it from the auction company at the time.
Apparently comes with a letter from the club so anyone know who wrote that? Looks like a lovely car, if I had the money and the time….
I emailed them. They say it’s been sitting for roughly 30 years and turns over but doesn’t run.
London car delivered on 4th September 1950 according to the Tom Lush book. I’m an Allard novice and so someone might tell me I’m talking nonsense but I would have thought that triple carbs on a P1 was fairly unusual.
Best of luck if you decide to buy.
It was provisionally bid to £8,000.
