1952 Allard J2X #2192. Ordered by Fred Warner Executive Pilot for General Motors’ top brass. Warners’ friends at Cadillac built him a special high-performance version of their 331 V8 engine and a special hydromatic transmission. Warner successfully raced the Allard between 1952 and 1955. In 1975 it passed to a Florida owner who was one of the founders of the US Historic Racing movement. It was raced in Historic Races for several years before being retired to garage trophy duties.

In 2013, the current owner purchased the car from the estate of the previous owner. Following a cost-no-object ground-up restoration of #2192 by a marque specialist, the car has been displayed at concours and carefully raced in vintage events.

The crowning glory for #2192 came in 2024 when it competed in the prestigious Millie Miglia race in Italy. It performed well, finishing the race and holding its own against formidable competition.

The car is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. It comes with historical documentation from Warner’s family, including photographs. Race results, and correspondence with General Motors.

This car is truly one of the most significant J2xs on the planet. It is restored to top condition and is ready to show, race, or both. It is located in Miami, Florida and can be shipped to anywhere in the world. Asking $300,000.
